Dressing In Your Colour Type Contrast
Now, let's dive into the world of medium contrast - who it suits and how to wear it.
Medium Contrast: Orange skin tone and Peach skin tone.
Medium contrast consists of white and colour next to each other within an outfit.
This look needs to always be framed by a dark taupe, darkest green or black shoe to create an outfit to frame contrast.
Similarly, the reverse holds true for a bright white shoe against a coloured pair of bottoms with a dark top.
Every outfit should consist of a Dark, a light, a colour and a print.
My pink skin low contrast colour type can miss the colour or the print though (learn more HERE) but four elements are ideal for the other 3 colour types.
The print can be very subtle by way of design detail, self-print or even curly hair.
Always frame that last hemline without repeating your shoe colour within your outfit.
Here's what I would like you to do.
1. Go back to my previous high contrast blog.
2. Head into your wardrobe and practice 3 medium contrast outfits.
How does it feel? Does it feel comfortable? Is this one you?
Do you have a medium contrast personality?
