Flash Back To My 30s
I always felt fine with what I wore in my 20s but I did have a lot of clothes (a couple of spare room wardrobes full) and most of them were black. I worked in retail so found it easier to buy black as it all worked together (well so I thought).
Around the age of 31, in my second marriage and with our third child, was when I started to notice just how black I looked in every photo.
It didn't help that way back then my hairdresser told me that I had warm skin (oh dear) so he always put warm tones in my hair.
I'm so thrilled that I have spent the last 8 years living my most confident self (and getting in as many photos as I can) due to creating my own system (after years of study and tonnes of experience, now 12 years in total) putting the best colour pairings together combined with those which work best on me.
And there is so much freedom in knowing that I have cool pink skin and I suit grey hair.
Turning 50 this year is so exciting for me... Now, what will I wear?... So many choices and I know exactly where to shop for my colour type, personal style and budget.
