Holiday Bound

We spent last week in gorgeous Port Douglas, Queensland with our two adult girls and their boyfriends (Chase and James couldn't make it, unfortunately).

We had the most fabulous time!

Preparing ahead of time can make traveling a stress-free experience.

However, I'm not referring to creating an itinerary or planning activities. Instead, I'm talking about packing efficiently.

Living out of a suitcase can be challenging, but with a little organisation and a system in place, you can ensure that you wear everything you pack and avoid including unnecessary items (if only we did this in our home wardrobes too... wink wink).

Remember this important tip before leaving home: put your outfits together as a flat lay consisting of clothes, accessories, and shoes. Take a photo and note when you plan to wear each outfit.

During your trip, you'll feel fabulous and relaxed knowing exactly what you'll wear each day, even if it's just simple linen shorts, shirts, and pants.

By planning ahead, you'll be able to pack everything you need without any extras.

My next important tip is to take a couple of different style hats but in go-away colours that won't mess with any other colours in your outfit you are wearing.

You will barely even notice them.
