How To Style Chinos

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love the simple chino as a forever foundation piece in any wardrobe.

Chinos are one of those timeless pieces that quietly work hard in a wardrobe when you know how to style them right.

1. Choose the right fit and fabric

Go for a straight or slightly tapered leg that skims (not clings). A mid-rise flat front looks modern and polished.

Lighter-weight cotton or cotton-linen blends are perfect for spring/summer, while structured twill works beautifully in cooler months.

2. Neutrals first, then personality

Start with your best neutrals, think oatmeal, light stone, camel, navy, or chambray. These form the base of endless outfit combinations.

Then, add personality through a shirt, tee, or blazer in one of your Coco enhancement colours from your palette.

3. Pair with slides for effortless chic

Cuff the hem or have them finish just above your ankle bone to flash some skin (and elongate your legs).

Add slides, it’s an instant upgrade from jeans without feeling “dressed up.”

Chinos move beautifully between seasons, that’s why they’re wardrobe gold.

Here’s my go-to trick for testing a trend you’re not 100% sure about (like these fisherman slides)… Pair it with chambray.

Denim has this magical way of putting everyone at ease; it makes anything look instantly more wearable.
