How To Wear a Colour That Doesn't Suit You
Life would be pretty boring if we only ever wore the colours that suit us.
Yes, our wardrobes need to be built around a system that begins with our skin colour (otherwise we would have an out-of-control wardrobe with an exhausted clothing budget) but what about the colours we love?
Believe it or not, you can wear anything, you just have to know what colours you suit that enhance that one colour.
Like my much-loved gold blazer for instance.
As a Hair colour type with pink skin, light grey is one of my best light neutrals.
And now as I transition to completely grey hair, bright white creeps into my palette as an extra neutral too.
The colour camel is not in my colour palette but Camel loves burgundy and burgundy is a colour that suits me (it's not one of my best colours but it does live within my palette).
And there's that bright white again.
Don't feel you can't wear a colour that you love just because it doesn't suit you.
Your best bet is to enhance that colour with colours that it suits that do suit you.
