Is your skin tone COOL or WARM?

There are two kinds of blondes - GOLDEN and then ASH- that's it, there is nothing more and nothing less.

And which one of these you are meant to be (which one suits you the best) is all up to whether your skin is WARM or COOL.

Now I'm going to show you the difference - I promise you, you will see it too after reading this.

Warm (peach skin)               Cool (pink skin)

Blondes with warm skin look amazing in soft oranges, corals, golden yellows, tan, bright cobalt and sweet aqua blues where as their cool skin counterparts look fabulous in blush pinks , nudes, cocoas, mushroom, taupe and washed out denim blues.

Freckles

Freckles

Warm skin blondes have soft orange freckles that tend to blend back easily without too much effort when applying makeup.

Cool skin blondes have charcoal freckles (with a couple of soft oranges thrown in) but the charcoal freckles are more widely spaced and harder to cover because the charcoal contrast off of the pink skin.

Warm blonde

Warm blonde

Blondes with a warm skin tone can wear black and white no problems at all as their skin is rich and gives off a such a golden glow that black can never look flat. Warm blondes suit high contrast which is why black and white together on them - looks amazing!

Ash blonde 2

Ash blonde 2

Blondes with a cool skin tone look awful in black - it looks flat, dull and way too heavy to be supported by such a cool light pink skin (thank goodness for plenty of make up hey) and being that black is actually a warm colour, it makes sense that it doesn't suit the low contrast ash blonde Lady with cool skin.

Warm blondes can wear bright colours

Warm blondes can wear bright colours

Warm skin tone blondes suit bright vibrant colours in high contrast (all contrasts actually and they can wear seven colours at once no worries without looking like a clown).

Cool skin tone blondes look much better in low contrasts with their colours needing to be greyed off, subtle and what I call soft (as if they have been washed 100 times and are now faded to perfection).

So to give it to you in the best way I know how.

Warm skin toned blondes have golden stars living under their skin that lifts up and supports the most craziest of colours.

Cool skin toned blondes have white grey ice flowing through their veins that allows them to wear greys, nudes and blush pinks like no-one else (think of a gorgeous Husky dog) and to tell you the truth - I personally wouldn't have it any other way.

I guess that gives you a huge clue as to which kind of blonde I am.
