Being In Control Of Your Wardrobe
I use navy as a colour in my wardrobe and charcoal as my best dark neutral.
Did you know that every (different) skin tone (there are only 4) has a best light and a best dark neutral?
I use this knowledge as a base to only buy colours that go together in my wardrobe.
It’s so easy to create an outfit every day in 5 minutes flat!
Do you use a system so you don’t keep buying the wrong things or are you hopeless 😩 and buy it because you liked it (the colour) at the time?
And each and every time... (then you say to yourself, when will you learn?!).
My favourite colour is mustard, followed by all the yellows - love them all!
But there is only one yellow that suits me to purchase as a piece of clothing (Man oh man does this save me from wasting my time and money!).
So I invest in the other yellows in my shoes.
Hence my marigold slides ❤️
And marigold loves seafoam (my skirt) and navy (my tank).
I still shudder to this day as I recall how many tops I used to buy in black (with tags still on as I placed them in the goodwill container) because I would convince myself that they are all different styles so it's justified.
It's kind of crazy what we tell ourselves sometimes, isn't it?
