Belting A Dress. My Key Tips For Success!
You all know that I suit low contrast, cool colours and look fabulous wearing all neutrals so please take this advice and flip it to work for your colour type, skin tone and contrast.
A lot of you (most of you actually) will need to add some colour to these outfits to have these looks work as effectively for you.
*This is so funny because I used to collect all bright colours and all black with no off-white to light neutrals before I knew any better - (no wonder I got so lost in my many rooms of wardrobes), lucky the kids were too small to need more wardrobe space back then, right?!... (Eeeeek! boy do I shake my head remembering that).
These days, of course, all of my items flow and work not only with each but with me! (I can make sure this happens for you too).
You can actually take any dress and just add a belt.
But consider what happens around the belt when you do so.
And how short it can then make the dress.
