Do You Get Left With The Job Of Packing For Everyone
So let's turn this into a double hitter and not only pack for them but also choose items they haven't worn in a long time (and most likely forgot were even there).
Half the battle in any of our wardrobes is the pure fact that we have forgotten what's in there and we don't know how to put it all together.
Packing forces us to take check of our wardrobes and encourages us to have a play.
This is so beneficial that in actual fact, even if you aren't planning to go anywhere, you should pretend you are just so you can build yourself a capsule wardrobe that all fits into one suitcase.
I've seen some pretty full-on packing styles over the years. The most popular one is to grab as much as you can and try to squeeze it all in.
And of course, then arrives at the holiday destination and only wears two things (because they are the only two things that work together).
If the above style resonates with you, let me see if I can at least change that mindset a bit.
Everything you pack needs to work with at least three if not four other items
Let's try this...
Build that capsule travel wardrobe all laid out on your bed first.
Create complete outfits which even include shoes, hats, and even sunglasses.
Take a photo with your smart phone and label it day 1. then day 2. day 3 and so on...
Preparation for your trip shouldn't just stop at the flights, accommodation and your itinerary.
How great you feel while doing all of these wonderful things comes down to that perfect capsule suitcase wardrobe.
Take the extra time, it's so worth it!
To your packing success,
