Change Of Lifestyle

Right.

It's been weeks (or even months) since you finished "that job" and life is so different for you now.

You walk into your wardrobe going "oh my gosh! How can I wear my two day jeans and top uniform every day of the week and still feel super stylish or at least somewhat inspired about it?"

The truth is... you can't.

You really just can't.

When my small one on one business became a Company online and I didn't have to actually go anywhere anymore or see anyone - trackies and thongs became my staples.

My wardrobe and dressing style changed Dramatically! I fell into a bit of a rut.

Even though I was in fact "the guru" on Personal style (I created my own systems) and the colour expert globally.

I stopped getting dressed for the day. I stopped getting dressed for the world! but most of all - I stopped spending the time I used to take out of the day just for me.

I did actually think to myself "Is this what retirement is like?".

Stuff that!

I'm going to be super hot and super stylish all of my life no matter what my daily calendar brings my way.

So if this is you right now, here are my tips below:

If you are going from a corporate job or a one-on-one small business and have scaled up to digital products working from home or have retired from working altogether.

You will have a moment of saying to yourself "I hate all of my clothes, I'm so bored with them and they remind me of work"... then you gather them up, chuck them in the boot for goodwill (drive around with a full boot for months) and start buying a whole new wardrobe.

Hold it right there!

Do not throw away your structured skirts, blazers and pants.

  • Your structured skirts will look amazing with a relaxed knit and long boots for a Friday night dinner catch-up.

  • Your structured blazer will look awesome over a floaty floral boho dress on a winery tour.

  • Your structured pants will love and adore a white street sneaker!!

All is not lost in your "before" wardrobe.

Your investment in these clothes is still perfectly sound. You can actually keep them rather than chucking them out or sending them on.

Going forward you can start curating a minimalist wardrobe around the pieces you already own.

Start with your skin colour, there are only four, pink, peach, blue and orange (more on how to work that out here) and combine that back with your current wardrobe by using My brilliant colour combinations e book to create fresh new looks.

Your skin colour suits you and your complexion perfectly.

I mean who doesn't want to reverse 10 years by giving themselves an even complexion (and without makeup!)?

You can be the change we all want to see in his world.

A change in lifestyle when considered and applied properly can still keep you current - while saving this planet of ours.

Style and sustainability = perfection.

Let's do it!
