What To Look For In A Winter Coat

Dressing in a Winter coat is about choosing the right coat colour to match your clothes. Black is not always the best choice.  

When you are wearing a large piece of heavy fabric and you happen to be wearing black, you have turned yourself into one big burnt marshmallow.  

You can take stock of your clothing and work out what colours you mostly wear during the winter months. Now choose which would be your number one best coat colour. If you do this, then you will be an absolute success!

Do you mainly have dark jeans and dark knits? Then grab a lighter coat.

Are all of your bottoms white, off-white, or light denim jeans? Grab a navy coat or a lovely wine-coloured one.

Breaking up your outfit into sections by way of colour keeps you feeling light and happy during the cooler months.

Not repeating the colour of your coat within your outfit helps to achieve this easily.
